New Member Auditions for '19-'20
We are inviting new members to audition for the 2019-2020 season!
Please review the audition requirements prior to submitting your application. Auditions are heard in March/April as faculty schedules permit. During open auditions, there are openings for all instruments at all levels!
A limited number of positions remain open for the current, 2018-2019 season; See the individual ensemble tabs for the openings at each level. Auditions are on-going, and will be scheduled as faculty schedules permit!

Schubert was barely 20 years of age when he completed his sixth symphony, which is the centerpiece of a program depicting youthful love with selections by Bruch, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, and Glinka.

GSYO invites members and non-members to participate in the acclaimed Golden State Youth Orchestra Summer Music Conservatory Program. From Beginning Orchestra, the ideal "first orchestra" experience, to Intermediate Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Winds for advanced-intermediate students, this two-week workshop is a great way to stay tuned up over the summer. The Summer Conservatory will conclude with an evening concert on July 26 at 7:00 pm. All programs are weekdays, Monday – Friday; students participate both weeks. Conservatory classes are held at the First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto.
