Acclaimed soloist Emil Miland joins the Symphony for a passionate performance of Schelomo: Rhapsodie Hébraïque by Ernest Bloch, inspired by the story of King Solomon. A virtuosic work for cello and orchestra, Bloch’s masterpiece is emotionally thrilling and spiritually satisfying.

GSYO invites members and non-members to participate in the acclaimed Golden State Youth Orchestra Summer Music Conservatory Program. From Beginning Orchestra, the ideal "first orchestra" experience, to Intermediate Chamber Orchestra and Chamber Winds for advanced-intermediate students, this two-week workshop is a great way to stay tuned up over the summer. The Summer Conservatory will conclude with an evening concert on July 26 at 7:00 pm. All programs are weekdays, Monday – Friday; students participate both weeks. Conservatory classes are held at the First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto.
