All-GSYO Concerto Competition
The All-GSYO competition is open to current GSYO musicians who will be continuing with GSYO in the 2026-27 season.
The concerto winner(s) will be scheduled to perform with the Senior Symphony, Camilla Kolchinsky Orchestra, or other GSYO ensemble(s) as appropriate, during the 2026-2027 Season.
Deadline March 7, 2026
The All-GSYO Competition for all orchestral instruments, excluding piano, is open to GSYO Members only (member through 2026-27 Season), and will take place on April 25, 2026.
Please note:
- The concerto must have orchestral accompaniment available for purchase or rental.
- The competition performance must have a live accompanist. If you need an accompanist recommendation, please contact the Office.
- The movement(s) performed in competition must be the movement(s) to be performed in concert.
- Works performed during the current season are not recommended for this competition; Please double-check the list
- There is a $50 fee due with the application. This fee is non-refundable.
- The competition schedule will be posted in early April. Please check the website for your assigned time.
- Winners must be members of GSYO in good standing for the season of their solo performance.
Applications are due by March 7, 2026 11:59 PM PST. This is a firm deadline. Late (time-stamped on March 8 or later) or incomplete applications will not be accepted- fill in all information below.
