Camilla Kolchinsky Orchestra Registration

The Camilla Kolchinsky Orchestra, conducted by Music Director Dr. Yun Song Tay, is an advanced-level ensemble for middle and high school students. CKO students receive intensive training in standard orchestral repertoire. Students may progress in the Camilla Kolchinsky Orchestra for multiple years and some remain through the end of high school, while others are in preparation for the Senior Symphony. Golden State Youth Orchestra, like any organization, would appreciate check or ACH payments. These payment methods will help GSYO reduce credit card fees and allow us to allocate financial resources towards orchestra programs.

Check/Electronic Funds Transfer Discount: GSYO offers a fee discount for those who prefer to pay by check or electronic funds transfer (via ACH).
Chicago Tour: $2,375 ($320 due with registration; remainder due 10/1)
Tuition Fee: $1,700 ($680 due with registration; remainder due 9/1)
August Allegretto Retreat: $650 (due 6/15)
Please note, if you make your tuition deposit payment or tour deposit payment via check or ACH, any subsequent tuition or final tour payments (for the season) be made by check or ACH.

Financial Aid: It is the policy of GSYO that no student should be excluded from participation due to financial hardship. Financial Aid is need-based. If you would like to apply for financial aid, please fill out the application (included in registration forms) and make the $200 payment at this time. You must either upload a copy of your most recent Federal Tax Return or mail a copy to the GSYO Administrative Office at 4055 Fabian Way, Palo Alto, CA 94303 to complete your request.

Family Discount: Families with more than one musician enrolled in GSYO can take a 10% discount on the tuition fee (not applicable to tours, tickets or camps/retreats); instructions and information available in the registration forms.

*We ask all of our families to make a tax-deductible donation to GSYO during the season. The Fall Annual Fund Campaign is a vital part of the budget, and our goal is 100% participation. Although not required, substantive member donations are an important signal to outside funding organizations. Even a small donation of any size to GSYO during the season can make a big difference when everyone participates. In addition, we ask all families to volunteer at GSYO concerts and on GSYO teams throughout the season.

INSTRUCTIONS

Review the Financial obligations (add the payment dates to your calendar or submit a credit card authorization form) and read through and fill out the registration forms (see below). The forms outline the code of conduct, attendance and seating policies, Chicago Tour, Allegretto Retreat details, health summary, waivers, and financial aid (if applicable). The forms are designed to allow you to work on them, leave, and return later to continue. You do not need to create a Jotform account or sign in with email - select "Skip create account" if that is your preference.

At the end of the forms, you will have a place to enter payment information for the Tuition and Tour Deposits, and additional fees (Retreat and Tickets) can be made at the same time or by the due dates indicated. The enrollment is complete when the forms and deposit have been received by GSYO. You should receive an email confirming your forms, with a PDF of the forms and informational pages, to the email provided.

Seating audition music will be available to the musicians in early June.
