Flute Masterclass
Starts at: 2:30 PM @ First Presbyterian Church
Yubeen Kim, principal flute with the San Francisco Symphony, will lead a masterclass with GSYO Symphony flutists. Following the performances, there will be a short Q & A session.
Featuring student soloists: Angela Fu, Yuna Seo, Julia Shi, and Ally Chew

Recognized worldwide for his musical prowess, Yubeen Kim achieved First Prize at the ARD International Music Competition, as well as First Prize at the Prague Spring International Music Competition, and Second Prize (with no First Prize awarded) at the Concours de Genève. He has also been honored with special awards, including the Audience Prize, Young Audience Prize, and Special Prize. Subsequently, these achievements have opened doors for him to perform concerts across the world.
As a soloist, he has been invited to perform at numerous concerts and festivals, including the Prague Spring Festival, Nimus Festival, Bemus Festival, Festival du Jura, Weiwuying International Music Festival, and Tongyeong International Music Festival. He has appeared as a soloist with many prestigious orchestras such as the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Konzerthausorchester Berlin, Bochumer Symphoniker, Turku Philharmonic Orchestra, and Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra.
