The Navy Band Southwest is touring the Bay Area in August. As part of their community outreach initiatives, they will perform a concert and conduct a masterclass, featuring GSYO Symphony woodwind and brass musicians! This is a great opportunity to hear a performance by one of the top brass bands in the country. Admission is free. No ticket required. Seating is first come, first served. Proof of Covid-19 vaccination is required.

Navy Band Southwest is one of the Navy’s finest and oldest continuing musical organizations. With over 80 years of support to the San Diego community, the band serves as the musical ambassador for the Commander, Navy Region Southwest. Under the direction of Lieutenant Commander Bruce J. Mansfield, the band is located onboard Naval Base San Diego and serves the military and civilian communities throughout the Southwestern United States.
COVID-19 SAFETY POLICY
Face coverings, regardless of vaccination status are required while indoors. Additionally, all attendees ages 5 and older must show proof of full vaccination to enter the venue.
Valid forms for proof of vaccination include one of the following:
A CDC vaccination card or similar documentation issued by another foreign governmental jurisdiction;
A photo of a vaccination card as a separate document, or stored on a phone or electronic device;
Documentation of vaccination from a healthcare provider;
A personal digital COVID-19 vaccine record with a QR code that scans to display name, date of birth, vaccine dates and vaccine type.
