This spacious performance facility works well for productions and events with large audiences. Named after the founder of Metro Goldwyn Mayer film company, Mayer Theatre was dedicated by actress Helen Hayes in 1975 and is continually maintained and updated as a state-of-the-art performance space.
In 2009, the City constructed the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center (M-A PAC) in conjunction with Menlo-Atherton High School. This facility is available to the City of Menlo Park 55 days out of the year including six weeks during the summer.

The Smithwick Theatre is available for rental Wednesday through Friday evenings and weekends. The 941-seat theatre includes a stage, two large wing rooms (which can be converted to quick-change booths), two downstairs dressing rooms, and a box office as part of the hourly hall rental.

De Anza’s 400-seat performance and lecture hall in the Visual & Performing Arts Center (VPAC) is available for rental to both De Anza College organizations and outside community groups. The 40-feet wide by 35-feet deep auditorium stage is configurable for a variety of events.
