Ariel Pham

Cello, Amos Yang Masterclass

Ariel Pham is a senior at Piedmont Hills High School. She began cello lessons at age ten and has been studying with Adelle-Akiko Kearns since her freshman year. She was selected to participate in the honor orchestra ensembles and All-state orchestra, and she won fourth place with her ensemble in the United States Open Music Competition. Besides music, she competitively swims and was selected as MVP of her school’s varsity swim team. At school, she is president of the Instrumental Council club, holds executive officer positions in the California Scholarship Federation and Friends of Children with Special Needs clubs, and is a member of the National Honor Society. In addition to music, Ariel enjoys drawing and painting, reading webcomics, and spending time with her sister.
