Eric Lin

Piano

Eric Lin is a 17-year-old pianist. He began studying piano at the age of five with his father and has since studied with Dr. Jed Galant since 2022 and Mrs. Suzanne Fuery since 2025. At fourteen, Eric made his orchestral debut performing Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Saratoga Strings Orchestra.

Eric has received prizes in numerous competitions, including the Gold International Classical Music Competition, the US New Star Competition, the Charleston International Music Competition, the MTAC Concerto Competition, and the Saratoga High School Concerto Competition. He was also a semifinalist of the International Young Artists Concerto Competition and the London Concerto Competition. In addition, he has appeared as a soloist at events such as the Midwest Clinic and the CMEA Festival.

Outside of piano, Eric enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and running.
