Joanne Lin

Violin

Joanne Lin is a sophomore at Los Altos High School. She began playing the violin at age six and currently studies with Ms. Zhao Wei. This is Joanne's third year in Golden State Youth Orchestra. Previously, she has played in orchestras including the Stanford Summer Symphony and San Jose Youth Chamber Orchestra. She has also played in piano trios at the California Music Preparatory Academy, attended music camp at Interlochen Center for the Arts, and performed at Carnegie Hall through the American Protégé competition. Outside of music, Joanne enjoys reading, skiing, and spending time with friends.
