Jordan Webster

Conductor of the Chamber Players & Camerata Orchestras

Jordan Webster earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the Lawrence Conservatory of Music in Appleton, Wisconsin. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish from Lawrence University and a Master’s in Education from University of San Francisco. She has been a full time band and orchestra teacher at Ralston Middle School in Belmont since 2007. Ralston has a robust music program with over 400 musicians and Jordan’s bands and orchestras have earned superior ratings at numerous festivals and competitions.

Additionally, Jordan is the director of the Chamber Players and Camerata Orchestras and the Summer Conservatory at Golden State Youth Orchestra. Jordan also served as the woodwind coach for Peninsula Youth Orchestra for 10 years.

In addition to teaching, Jordan is the principal clarinet with the New Millennium Chamber Orchestra and she has performed with the San Francisco Wind Symphony.

She is delighted to be joining Brian Switzer in the Instrumental Music Department at Carlmont. She brings a passion for teaching music and is thrilled to remain part of the Belmont-San Carlos-Redwood Shores music education community.
