Meining Wu, seventeen, a senior and Conservatory Honors Fellow at Valley Christian High School, studies piano with Hans Boepple. A three-time US Chopin Foundation Young Pianists Scholar, she was inducted into the 2026 MTAC Young Artist Guild, the highest honor for high school musicians in California. She made her concerto debut with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra at thirteen and has since soloed with the Central Texas Philharmonic, Peninsula Symphony, SFCM Orchestra, and Golden State Youth Orchestra. Recent honors include First Prize and Best Sonata at the Marilyn Mindell Competition, Gold at the San Francisco International Piano Competition, Second Prize and Best Bach at the American Bach Society Ruth Monte Competition. Meining is also an award-winning visual artist and the founder of Equal Keys for All, teaching free, adaptive piano to neurodiverse children.
